President/CEO Chris Lafollette, Vice President Larry Mann and Public Policy Manager David Steinmetz traveled to Washington DC to meet with elected officials and Staff to advocate for Arizonians who are blind working in the AbilityOne program. The team discussed how important “informed choice” is for clients in the VR program, creating new careers for people with disabilities by establishing a 1% utilization goal and ensuring oversight of the AbilityOne program.
