  • Meet Rick Veloz: Operations Manager, Distribution Services Unit
    As a child Rick was diagnosed with X-linked juvenile retinoschisis which is a condition characterized by impaired vision that begins in childhood. This disorder affects the retina , which is a specialized light-sensitive tissue that lines the back of the eye. When asked about giving advice to other blind individuals who desire upward mobility Rick said, “have confidence in yourself and through perseverance, you can overcome any obstacles, that’s how I got to where I am today.” Read More

For over 65 years, we have provided training, personal, and professional development opportunities through dignified employment to people who are blind or visually impaired throughout Arizona. We recognize and celebrate that each person brings a diverse set of abilities, skill sets, and potential to our organization.

Committed to our mission, we are passionate about inspiring individuals who are blind to achieve their maximum potential while providing the highest level of quality and service.
