AIB Cancels the 2020 Annual Richard J. Monaco Tee Off for Blindness Golf Tournament

To our valued partners, it is with great sadness that Arizona Industries for the Blind (AIB) has decided to cancel the 2020 Annual Richard J. Monaco Tee Off for Blindness golf tournament due to the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID 19).

We want to thank everyone for their strong commitment to our tournament. Year after year, your organization has committed time, resources, and financial support to help AIB improve the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired.

Arizona Industries for the Blind is a nonprofit 501(C) (3) agency whose mission is “to inspire individuals who are blind to pursue their maximum potential through creating, sustaining and improving employment while providing the highest quality products and services.

Even though the tournament is cancelled, your support of AIB’s program is essential, maybe even more so this year.

Sponsorships to the golf tournament help Arizona Industries for the Blind:

  • Deploy assistive technology that empowers people who are blind to reach their maximum potential
  • Create professional development programs that builds a competent and diverse workforce
  • Positions AIB for growth of dignified jobs for tomorrow

While we might not be together for the 2020 Richard J. Monaco Tee Off for Blindness golf tournament, you or your organization can still make a difference by participating in one of our many sponsorship opportunities. Please reach out to April Lange at alange@azifb.com or 602-620-5837 to learn more. If your organization has already sponsored this year’s event, we will be happy to refund the entire amount, a portion of it, or even carry it forward for next year’s tournament. We look forward to hearing from you soon and AIB appreciates your continued support.

Mark your calendar, the 2021 Richard J. Monaco golf tournament is scheduled for September 17, 2021. We look forward to seeing you next year. Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

April Lange
